What is PULSE?

The foundation for any musical practice is that the participant possesses both an individual and a shared sense of the basic pulse. Peter Bjerrum has successfully developed the simple and unique tool, "PULSE," to establish a framework for working with and clarifying the abstract concept of basic pulse. This approach makes the concept visually tangible, concrete, understandable, and relevant to everyone.

Through cooperative playing, active listening, and movement along the PULSE lanes, individuals cultivate a sense of pulse and become familiar with the basic pulse beats.
